Ankur Pratishthan was established by a group of inspired college students driven by the vision of transforming the lives of destitute children. It was officially registered on 23rd November 2009.

Ankur Pratishthan is a not-for-profit NGO dedicated to the holistic development of children living in Child Care Institutions (CCIs). Our initiatives are driven entirely by voluntary efforts.
Is Ankur Pratishthan a Child Care Institution (Orphanage)?
No, we do not operate any CCIs. Instead, our work complements the exceptional efforts of CCIs, focusing on the overall development of the children in their care.
Does Ankur Pratishthan accept donations? Are they tax-exempt?
Yes, we accept donations, which are eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act.
